There is something mysterious about the journey life takes us on. What seems like a mistake or a setback can actually be a setup for blessing and purpose. This can certainly be said about the path that led our pastors to where they are today. 

Both Andy and Kristy are Florida natives—that’s right, it actually happens occasionally. And they were born and raised right here in Sarasota County. They both have always had a sense of God’s calling on their lives; however, after each experiencing the pain of a failed marriage, this seemed far from possible. Through a chance meeting at their children’s school, Andy and Kristy realized that maybe God had blessed the broken road that led them to this place. What were two families became one, and together with their blended family, the Meyers set out to serve God and pursue the calling He placed on their lives. 

Through an encounter with God that was confirmed by leadership and after working for years in almost every area and position of church life, including teaching kids ministry and serving as small groups director, leadership development director, youth pastor, and associate pastor, Andy started out on the journey of planting a life-giving church that would help people encounter God and exchange the worries of this world for the promise of another!

With all of the excitement and wonder their hearts can contain, Andy, Kristy, and their five kids, Hayley, Emma, Ryley, Oliver, and Miracle are stepping out in faith toward the hope God has placed in their hearts for a church community in Sarasota, Florida.
